About the Department:

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2013.
Vision of the Department:
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering of KAKATIYA University produces globally competent electrical engineers by imparting effective teaching learning process, involving in advanced research and inculcating values in order to address the problems of humanity.

Head of the Department:

M. Surendar ( M.Engg) has done M.Engg  from  Karunya University, Coimbatore. He has 1 year of industry and 12 years of teaching experience. The department is guided by well experienced faculty. The faculty members are always ready to take up the challenging tasks.

In Industries related to Wireless Communications, Signal processing, Very Large Scale Integrated circuits, Embedded systems, Laser and Optics , Electronic devices, Telecommunications, Control Systems and other advanced technologies. The students are placed in software companies like  CA technologies ,MTW Labs, Mindtree  Technologies, Steinmetz  Ils Pvt. Ltd., Raybiz Technologies.

Students and Faculty Activities :

• Department of   Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized many technical and non technical events as a part of RUBYZEST-17. The events covered in the emerging fields of engineering of various disciplines aimed at creative and interaction among student participants and experts in the fields. They include programmes like Workshops, Paper Presentations, Tech Quiz , Poster Presentation, and  Project Presentations.
